Deesni Technologies Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is the data controller for personal data processed through the deesni platform. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity data: name, date of birth, government-issued ID documents;
- Contact data: email address, phone number;
- Financial data: accreditation status, investment history (self-declared);
- Business data: company name, registration number, directorship details;
- Usage data: login timestamps, page views, feature interactions;
- Communications: messages sent through the platform.
3. How We Use Data
We use your personal data to:
- Verify your identity and comply with AML/KYC obligations;
- Operate and improve the Platform;
- Match investors with companies according to stated preferences;
- Send transactional notifications (account status, match alerts);

- Contract: to fulfil our obligations under our Terms of Service;

- Other platform participants — only with your explicit consent and only after mutual matching;

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. KYC documents are retained for a minimum of 5 years following account closure, as required by AML regulations. Usage logs are retained for 7 years.
